In Science, the students have been learning about rapid changes to the Earth’s surface, including volcanoes, landslides, earthquakes, and floods. This week we'll be comparing these to changes that happen slowly, such as weathering and erosion. In Math, the students will locate ordered pairs on a graph to create a “surprise” picture. They will also complete some fun activities to learn about symmetry, reflections, rotations, and translations. During Language Arts class this week, the students will begin writing persuasive essays on a topic of their choice.
