Students who did not complete their Math Incentive Charts today will have several opportunities before the Christmas break to retake quizzes they missed. I am very proud of the students' efforts to memorize their addition and subtraction math facts these last few months. I also appreciate all the assistance and encouragement they received at home!... We will be spending the next two weeks reviewing telling time using analog clocks.  We'll also begin preparing for our study of multiplication in January by learning about arrays and repeated addition. In Science this week, we are beginning  our study of animal adaptations. We'll conduct a blubber experiment to understand how fat helps animals like whales, seals, and walruses survive in frigid environments. The students will be sharing their personal timelines during Social Studies class this week. I look forward to learning about all their milestones!
