It was a busy day today, filled with lots of good stuff!  In Social Studies, we discussed reasons why the colonists were unhappy under British rule, and how this led to the American Revolution. This week we'll be reading Can't You Make Them Behave, King George? by Jean Fritz, a humorous look at the English king's role in our nation's quest for independence.  In Science, we are studying the life cycle of a frog.  The students completed frog life cycle "sliders" that will help them remember the steps to this process, and pasted them into their notebooks. In Religion, we will be concluding our discussion of women of faith with a study of Mother Teresa of Calcutta and her amazing work with the poorest of the poor.
