Investigating Seeds

 As part of our study of plant life cycles in Science, the students have been learning about seed structure, how plants make seeds, and the different ways that seeds travel.  They examined the seeds in different kinds of fruit and recorded their observations.  They were able to infer that a fruit not only protects a seed, but also attracts animals that can help spread the seed.  Here are some photos of our seed exploration:
