Epic- Books for Kids

posted May 10, 2018, 8:12 AM by Renee Healy   [ updated May 10, 2018, 8:27 AM ]

Today in class I signed up all the students with their own profile for Epic.  I showed them how to sign on, so they should be able to do it on their own.  It's a library at their finger tips!  They all selected their profiles based on age and genre.  All they have to do is go to and use the classroom code MVL-8862.  Happy Reading!

Home Access is also available...I sent an email to all parents.

You can also download the Epic App too!

All cast members need to stay till the end!
We have 2 weeks left till the play.  Attendance is VERY IMPORTANT!  There are children that are constantly missing practices!  It is a commitment and if a character is missing it affects everyone.  I am constantly looking for substitutes, it is time consuming!  WE CANT PUT A PLAY TOGETHER IF THE CAST MEMBERS  ARE MISSING AS  YOU CANT PLAY BASKETBALL  GAME  WITH 3 PLAYERS!

SCRIPTS!  By next week all cast should have it memorized!!

Thank you for the ones that come to every practice and wait for their turn to get up on the stage and we actually don’t get to their scene, but they come back the next day without complaining about it!

Next week practices are Monday through Wednesday 3:15 - 5:30

Mary Poppins Costumes

posted Apr 10, 2018, 4:23 AM by Renee Healy

Mrs.  Amato is the costume coordinator.  Please reach out to her if you have questions regarding what cast members should wear.  Please look up characters from the movie and try to look for appropriate clothing.  It would be a great help!  1910 is the year for clothes reference.
Girls: white blouses and navy or black skirts, white dresses (or as close as you can get to the English 1910 look).  Long hair should be in  pigtails( curled if possible) or braids.
Boys: white button down shirts, navy/black shorts ( knee highs are great and a bow tie)
